joins me to present you all our wishes of health and prosperity for
2012. At this beginning of year 2012, let us inaugurate
our new structure of sales force. A new more enriched and more
effective organization, based around business engineers dedicated to
the various business sectors,which we hope, will give a new dimension
to ULTIMEDIA in customer relationship. If until this day, we rested on
our known name, our presence to diverse professional events , and a
multidisciplinary but sedentary commercial follow-up, we are capable
today of associating our skills with a commercial power which confers
us besides a quality of listening and an expertise state-of-the-art
sale, a follow-up in project mode even more professional.
In adequacy with our website which presents
exhaustively our virtual showcase, this one reflects the image of
ULTIMEDIA in the interactive universe with authenticity and our
showroom ceaselessly in evolution brings the proof of real correlation
with our skills of justiable leader. With more than 35 videos of
demonstration, our website presents a profusion of our interactive
solutions unrivalled, bringing the confirmation of our technological
advances on this market in which we innovate since 1994. A thematic
approach always more targeted on the job solutions. The successes
obtained during year 2011 and in spite of this period of crisis
encourage us in ceaseless commitment of progress. It is good to say
that we are ISO Certified ISO 9001 V2008, and that our technological
progress is strengthened by this initiative. Still numerous
innovations in the last year 2011, confirms our positioning in the
interactive world!
Looking back on 2011, allows us to confirm that we had a
year with a very strong progress of more than 65%. We have obtained
many interactive kiosk deals in number in our development of
excellence: with our outside
interactive kiosks, ticketing kiosk in the distribution field, our
outstanding kiosks of visio conference, our concepts of drive-thru
kiosk, etc…
This newsletter is a good opportunity to make a small
retrospective of our creations of interactive kiosks from 2011:
an outside wall kiosk with a credit card machine named EWALL, a
SEDUCTION model, ULTIMATE, CONSTELLATION, AGORA MANHATTAN, AGORA VEGAS,
SMART DRIVE, SMART PAY, ZED, EPSILON, PARKING, TOTEM JUMBO… At this
beginning of 2012, you can notice once again our quality of design. We
create the standards which inspire our competitors, instead of taking
offence at it, we are proud of this tribute that is given to us and
which confirms literally our leader’s position. In the
marathonian approach of ULTIMedia for several years, we are proud to
announce that we shall be a sponsor for the marathon of New York in
2012. With some participating employees whose commitment will find its
climax there.

The ULTIMATE interactive kiosk
ULTIMedia presents this new concept with the
option of double screening, in the total respect of standards for people
with reduced mobility. A 19 inch touchscreen (option dual touch), that
takes minimal space on the floor and the possibility of integrating a
thermal or laser printer of big capacity (up to an A4 format). The
access to the printer by the front to reload the paper of the printer is
very appreciated which is a specificity of Ultimedia. This model can
receive (optional) on top a full HD screen of 32 or 42 inches.
You also have the option to had a stainless steel keyboard on this model.

Here is our last created model of interactive
drive compact kiosk created by Eric DUMOUCHEL for ULTIMedia. This new
concept brings a comfort which distinguishes it from rival kiosk. A
particurlarly well succeeded study, demonstrate that this product of
drive-thru kiosk is the most relevant to this day.
Thanks to a unique
matt, its dimensions are minimal and favor an appropriate vision of the
environment. Optional the principles of red/green lights allows the
motorists to go and to better manage their waiting time.
Anti-vandals technologies, whose ULTIMedia has the
secret, equip this classified kiosk IP65 according to the standards
AFNOR and VERITAS.

NEW LEADS
BNP Paribas – ALICE trusted ULTIMedia
BNP Paribas trusted
ULTIMedia to complete the realization of the interactive project ALICE
to restructure his agencies, a project of equipment in all the BNP
agencies, with the conception of a specific counter model, variable
geometry, with the complex conception of the contents,including some
artistic creation of design motion of exception and a study ergonomic of
the high level interface. The accomodation and the remote control of
kiosk have also been given to ULTIMedia with its software of management
NETSPOT. The updates of the contents are also managed by ULTIMedia.
ULTIMedia conceived a specific design to optimize
and modernize the display stands of the tourist advertising brochures.
This new model of interactive kiosk proposes to the public of the
interactive presentations through a 19 inches anti-vandal touchscreen. The
user presents a brochure in front of the scanner and an application
module dashes in connection with this one, for the display of a small
promotional movie. This model proposes an extraordinary quantity of
brochures.

BNP Cardif – ULTImedia assure with multi-channel demonstrators
BNP Cardif ordered from ULTIMedia several kiosk of
presentation of multi-channel demonstrator connected by an application
conceived by ULTIMedia, to put in relation the users of tablets PC with
other smart phones with a technical pole, to make them exchange via
video-conference. The design and the ergonomics were implemented by
ULTIMedia around interactive kiosks called PRESTIGE 007.

Ministry of Justice – ULTIMedia considered guilty in the excellent realisation of the Vision kiosk.
In the objective to
move closer to the citizen of the public service of Justice made by the
state, the ministry of justice and of liberties inaugurated in 2010 the
houses of justice and the new generation right (MJD NG). The main news
offered by these MJD reside in the new technologies: They are indeed
equipped with a specific device to the Ministry of justice and liberties
called "Contact Visio Justice". It is about a kiosk which
allows the citizen to contact directly the Clerk’s office of the court
of competence. The user is then proposed services of consultation,
communication, exchanges, dematerialized type.
ULTIMedia supplies a complete technical solution
allowing this getting in touch. During an exchange by video-conference,
the user can receive documents sent by the Clerk’s office of the Court,
send it himself via a scanner, browse the internet or to have an
explanation via the screen on how to fill out a form.
Adapted to the people with reduced mobility, the
solution of video-conference ULTIMedia kiosk answers besides the various
standards of the market, that they are technical (codecs audio and
video) or of security. While presenting a very small space taker and a
design thought for a use in any confidentiality. A compact ergonomics
which includes easily accessible features, in a media quality comfort. In the objective to move closer the Citizen of
the service returned by the State, the ministry inaugurated in 2010 the
houses of new generation.

ULTIMedia plays cash with the Credit Agricole bank…
Within the project of renewing its’ agencies, the
Credit Agricole in the Alps Provence in current December, its new
concept into which is integrated a zone dedicated to the
interactivity. It is about a local project (Region the Alps Provence,
departements 05, 13 and 84). However it is attentively observed by the
other regions and the national direction of the Credit Agricole.
It is in that zone that ULTIMedia interactive
kiosk was installed. It allows users to navigate on Credit Agricole
groups websites and to make certain online steps. It is thus a question
for this interactive kiosk PRETIGE 007:
- To offer a package of interactive services to the customers of the CAAP
- To free from useful time for employees of reception of CAAP
- To revitalize the new agency concept of CAAP
- To develop loyalty of the customers to the agencies of CAAP
- To work the image of Credit Agricole
Please take note that ULTIMedia also developped a software solution
embarked on interactive kiosk. At the level of the first phase of test
for which two suppliers were in competition, the choice concerned to
ULTIMedia for the quality of its services and its material.
If the test of use in agencies is decisive by the end of 2012, 200 agencies will be equipped.

EVENT
ULTIMedia, on the show of the Mayors and collectivity (SMCL 2011)
ULTIMedia has been invited, on the occasion of
SMCL 2011 show, to present several solution of interactive kiosk (Mayor
and local collectivity show). Many partners have asked ULTIMedia to
participate in this major event. With a capacity of outstanding
innovation, this committed company and on the quality of production
built itself over the years an excellent reputation. In this context,
several solutions of citizen kiosks were presented on the SMCL
exposition. Thanks to quality partnerships associated to a know-how,
ULTIMedia brings a service adapted to local authorities.
On the official stand of the Ministry of Justice,
ULTIMedia presented its last model of videoconference kiosk, a
communicating solution in a customer/councillor mode with as principle
the link of the citizens and the public services. The videoconference
kiosk was invented ULTImedia in 2002 for the General Council of the Val
d’Oise.
On the Logitud stand, ULTIMedia presented 2
models of cimetary kiosk. ULTIMedia invented the first cimetary kiosk in
2003. ULTIMedia thus presented two models, an outside kiosk and an
inside wall kiosk. Intentions of orders were already signified.
On the stand of Applicam, ULTIMedia presented a
kiosk to rechage a citizen card. A paying kiosk integrating a credit
card reader, a RFID reader and other complex features. ULTIMedia
invented the first citizen kiosk in 1996.

KIOSK, WHAT ARE THEY
KIOSK, WHAT ARE THEY?
Current situation on the universe of interactive kiosk in the beginning of 2012.
Eric DUMOUCHEL reviews the universe of the
interactive kiosk and the DOOH at this beginning of 2012 and this
prefigures in its second "Livre blanc" in the continuation of the
first one which he wrote in 2003:
"Our presence on NRF 2012 show in New York
allowed us to notice the fervent craze around the ipad and the mobilie
solutions, it confirms widely my comments which are more than 10 years
old, when I supported the importance of mobile phone in the retail
sector which a triptych internet/kiosk/mobile, which really showed
itself during the last kiosk show. We could thus discover plethora of
mobile applications, and tablets PC, without having underlined that
tablets PC type IPAD, are not adapted to the intensive use hardened in
store and even less resistant in vandalism, an IPAD possesses a life
expectancy of less than a year in an hostile environment. Thus a paradox
clarifies in a way. It is necessary to correct this little distance by
proposing small hardened touchscreen displays.
If the mobility in the retail sector widespreads,
we notice the necessity of having interactive kiosks with an ergonomic
more comfortable and available on the appropriate spots, the
complementarity is evident,the associated operating mode brings more
relevant services. Towards a population of seniors and people with
reduced mobility, the interactive kiosk brings answers that cannot
supply mobile phones and smart phones or other PC tablets. The
extension of range on shell kiosk brings a reliable answer which does
not exclude a population deprived of mobile device.
The notion of fixed points, in the proper sense of
kiosk which mark out, supervise the course of the mobile populations.
The concept of mobility and the craze for social networks cannot find a
stability without passing by the realization of landmarks in a material
and not virtual world. Secured points to print or to embark means of
payment, biometric recognition… Let’s not forget that we are living in a
real world and let us hope that the balance is made for the well being
of our company to make a commitment at all costs for dematerialization.
Besides, I take advantage of this interview to announce the publication
at the end of 2012 of my second « livre blanc » on the
interactive technologies and the cross-functional solutions.
